Which is where thermal cameras have granted access. These special cameras are cool because they can see heat and then make pictures that we know how to look at from the heat. This enables us to detect elusive leaks that are skulking behind walls, under floors and between ceilings without breaking or tearing anything asunder. Thermal cameras are a great way to quickly and easily identify the leaks.

In order to work, thermal cameras use infrared technology. Infrared light is a type of heat that our eyes can not see, but some cameras use it to make images. What is intriguing however, that everything in the world radiates with heat — portraits of walls and even refrigerators which leave a cold feeling when touching. The thermal camera detects that the items are so hot, our heads feel it even though we can't really sense heat coming off of those goods!

Thermal cameras help when you are finding a leak by looking for temperature contrasts. If there is a leak, that place will be warmer than the other areas surrounding it. It means that you can find the leaks quickly (it shows us where the heat difference is) by using a thermal camera. We can see things that we cannot usually as though with super vision ~!

In walls, floors or ceilings where the pipes are hidden thermal cameras can detect heat. When there is a leak, older mphotons from the washroom will appear as warmer than the surrounding cooler spots. This makes it so the leak can be located without having to essentially tear your house apart (which would create quite a large mess, and is time-consuming).
