Rescue For The Tingri Earthquake In Tibet
When a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Dingri County in Tibet in January 2025, LSJ Technology responded within hours — dispatching volunteers and technicians with USAR equipment to the disaster area at 5,000 meters above sea level.
Braving Extreme Conditions to Reach the Frontline
Dingri County sits on a high plateau where temperatures fell to -15°C and level-8 winds swept the region, with repeated aftershocks following the main quake. LSJ's support teams carried rescue equipment through freezing cold and snow to reach the rescue site without hesitation.

Advanced USAR Equipment Deployed in Rescue Operations
LSJ's support teams carried a complete detection and monitoring suite into the earthquake zone, giving rescue commanders tools for locating buried survivors and watching unstable structures around the clock.
- Radar life detector
- Acoustic and listening radar life detector
- Seismic human life locator
- Safety and monitoring radar
- Movement monitoring system
- Monitoring and protection device
Specific units were assigned to distinct tasks on site:
- YZ-120 movement monitoring system and HXDMR-300 safety and monitoring radar watched unstable structures, preventing secondary collapses and protecting rescue personnel.
- HXSAR-5KS monitoring and protection device monitored mountain collapses triggered by aftershocks, enabling early warnings and prompt adjustment of rescue plans by the command center.
- CAMB-RAD seismic human life locator picked up distress signals transmitted through tapping.
- LSJ-M radar life detectors performed precise location of buried individuals.
- CAMB-500 acoustic and listening radar life detector facilitated communication with trapped individuals to assess their condition and shape rescue measures.

Proven Performance in Real-Life Disasters
LSJ's professional USAR equipment has been tested in multiple real-life scenarios — earthquakes and landslides among them — accumulating practical experience that feeds back into product design. In Tibet, the devices worked alongside rescue personnel on the frontline, contributing to the safety and stability of the disaster-stricken areas.
